Sailun Tires

A Modern Manufacturer

Sailun was founded in 2002 in Qingdao, China, and has grown quickly into a large, publicly traded tire maker with factories in China and Southeast Asia. It's a relatively young company compared with century-old brands, which means modern factories and equipment, and its tires are now sold widely across Canada and the United States.

The Sailun Lineup

The Atrezzo family is Sailun's passenger and crossover line, covering touring and performance tires for everyday driving. Ice Blazer is its winter family, built for the cold and snow of a Canadian winter, and it's one of the more popular budget winter options. Terramax covers SUVs and light trucks, from highway tires to all-terrain designs, and the Commercio family covers vans and light commercial vehicles.

Sailun's appeal is straightforward: a dependable tire with solid warranty coverage at a price well below the premium brands. It makes particular sense for a dedicated winter set — you're only running it for part of the year, so a value winter tire that grips well in the cold can be a smart way to stay safe without spending premium money twice.

As with any value brand, you'll get the most out of Sailun by matching it to the right job. Tell us how many kilometres you drive and what you use the vehicle for, and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a good fit.

Sailun for Vans and Work Vehicles

If you run a van or light commercial vehicle for work, tire costs add up quickly across a fleet or a high-kilometre year. Sailun's Commercio family is designed for those vehicles, with load ratings to suit heavier use. The most important thing with any work vehicle is matching the load range to what you actually carry — an under-rated tire wears out fast and can be unsafe when loaded. We'll check that for you before you order.
