Nexen Tires

A South Korean Value Leader

Nexen traces its roots to 1942 in South Korea and adopted the Nexen Tire name in 2000. It manufactures in South Korea, China, and the Czech Republic, and several automakers fit Nexen tires on new vehicles at the factory — a meaningful vote of confidence for a brand at this price point.

Where Nexen Fits

Nexen's lineup covers the core needs of most drivers. N'Priz is its touring family, built for comfortable everyday driving. N'Fera covers performance tires for sportier cars. Roadian is Nexen's SUV and light truck family, from highway tires to all-terrain designs. For winter, the WinGuard family covers dedicated cold-weather tires.

What you get with Nexen is a modern, well-built tire at a noticeably lower price than the premium brands. Where you'll typically notice a difference is at the extremes — maximum wet grip or tread life over many years — rather than in everyday commuting. For many drivers, especially those putting on average kilometres, that's a trade worth making.

If you're shopping on a budget but still want a brand with real manufacturing scale and factory-fitment experience behind it, Nexen is one of the first value brands we'd suggest looking at.

Nexen for Crossovers and SUVs

Crossovers are now the most common vehicles we see, and they're also where tire prices climb quickly as wheel sizes grow to 18, 19, and 20 inches. Nexen's Roadian family is a practical way to keep costs under control on a larger vehicle without dropping to the cheapest tire available. Give us your size and we'll price Nexen alongside a premium option so you can see exactly what the difference is for your vehicle. For many families, that difference covers a good part of a winter set.
