Bought Tires Online? How to Get Them Installed in Aurora

By Sepehr, Owner & Lead Technician5 min read

The Short Answer

Yes. Terron Tire installs tires you bought online or from another store. We mount them, computer balance them and install them on your car, SUV or truck, and our installation pricing is based on your vehicle — not on where the tires came from. Before you order, double-check the size and load rating, and contact us to book an appointment for when the tires arrive.

Before You Order: Check These Four Things

  • Size. Match the size on your driver's door placard or your current tires, for example 225/65R17. One wrong number means the tires won't fit.
  • Load index and speed rating. These must be at least as high as your vehicle's original tires — especially on SUVs and trucks.
  • Type. All-season, all-weather or winter. For an Ontario winter, look for the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol.
  • Quantity. Buy four matching tires. Ontario's driver's handbook recommends four winter or all-weather tires with the same tread pattern, and many all-wheel-drive vehicles need matching tires on all four corners.

Not sure how to read the size? Our SUV & truck tire fitment guide explains load ratings, or send us a photo of your tire sidewall and we'll confirm it.

What Installation Includes

  • Mounting the tires on your rims
  • Computer balancing on every wheel
  • A new valve stem, or a TPMS reseal on sensor-equipped wheels
  • Disposal and recycling of your old tires
  • Lug nuts torqued to spec with a calibrated tool

Most four-tire installation and balancing appointments are done in under an hour.

Is Buying Online Actually Cheaper?

Sometimes. Compare the total, not just the tire price: shipping, installation, balancing, valve stems or TPMS service, and old tire disposal all add up. We break it down in How Much Do New Tires Cost in Ontario?. It's also worth getting a quote from us for the same tires — once installation is included, buying locally can come out closer than you'd expect, and you get one place to go if there's ever a problem.
